On October 10, 2024, M Countdown officially confirmed that BLACKPINK's Jennie and SEVENTEEN would perform at the South Korean music program in the forthcoming week (October 17, 2024). While the female artist would perform her latest single Mantra, SEVENTEEN would hit the stage with their 12th mini album, SPILL THE FEELS.
Subsequently, the news about BLACKPINK's Jennie and SEVENTEEN hitting the M Countdown stage circulated on social media, and the fandoms could not contain their excitement. One X user posted that the two main names of the K-pop industry would deliver electrifying performances and mentioned:

The fandom flaunted that BLACKPINK's Jennie's and SEVENTEEN's presence would break records and create a chaotic atmosphere in the K-pop world.
