BTS’ Taehyung and Park Hyo-shin's Winter Ahead has been named Billboard's "Favorite K-pop Song of 2024." A Billboard article revealed the results on January 3, 2025. This recognition was based on a fan-voted poll.

Coming in second place in the same category was Taehyung's bandmate Jungkook with his track Never Let Go. Additionally, Winter Ahead set another milestone on December 2, becoming the longest-charting song by a K-pop act on Billboard's Holiday Digital Song Sales chart.

Winter Ahead also ranked No. 1 on Billboard's "27 Best Winter Songs for the Season" list as announced on December 12 and became the fastest jazz song by a K-pop act to top the Billboard Holiday Digital Song Sales chart. Furthermore, the track reached over 100 million Spotify streams within 29 days, becoming Taehyung’s fastest song to achieve this milestone.
