BTS’ Jimin and Kim Taehyung are all over social media as they were seen talking about Yeontan on Are You Sure?! On Thursday, August 22, Disney+ dropped the fourth episode of Jungkook and Jimin's travel show featuring Kim Taehyung. In the latest episode, they mentioned the Layover singer's popular pet dog Yeontan.
While having lunch together, the FACE singer revealed how Yeontan loves his father Kim Taehyung. Jimin also shared an unknown story when he looked after Yeontan and stated that he practically raised him. However, Kim Taehyung turned this into a comical scene as he added that it was only one week.
Yeontan once appeared on a music show along with V for the promotion of his solo song Slow Dancing. Jungkook stated that Yeontan looks at the camera very well. Hearing the two talk about Yeontan, Jungkook also shared that he was also missing his Doberman Bam. Fans and netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts.

Yeontan is a Pomeranian raised by BTS’ Kim Taehyung since 2017 and is popular among the fans of the K-pop idol. The Slow Dancing singer shares a wholesome bond with his dog and has featured him multiple times in solo projects.
The BTS vocalist dropped his first solo album Layover in September 2023, and the album cover features a close-up image of his dog Yeontan. Furthermore, Yeontan also appeared on the MCountdown show with V during the Slow Dancing performance.
Yeontan became the first celebrity puppy to have an official performance fan cam. Fans have showcased their support to the artists as well as his pet, with over 2 million streams on his fan cam. Yeontan is often called a K-pup artist following his debut stage on MCountdown.
Meanwhile, Kim Taehyung is currently serving in the military as a part of the Special Duty Team. He is a part of the military police based in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do Province.
In July 2024, he shared an image of him with Yeontan, on his Instagram story, sharing that he missed him in the military. The BTS vocalist is set to be discharged from his duties in 2025.
