On September 6, ODDATELIER, the agency representing BLACKPINK's Jennie, issued a firm warning against individuals falsely claiming to be the K-pop star's father. In a recent statement, the agency emphasized that she has no connection to these impersonators, debunking rumors that an upcoming novel is based on her life.

The agency assured fans that legal action is underway to address the issue. The situation escalated due to a now-deleted media report. It claimed that PD Kim Hyung-jin, a known author, was Jennie's father and was planning to release a novel based on her life.

ODDATELIER swiftly denied these claims, asserting that the report was baseless and that Jennie had no ties to Kim or any publication associated with him.

"We are also taking legal action against the authors of malicious posts, including defamation, s*xual harassment, and malicious slander by spreading falsehoods about artists." the agency added in the statement.

The agency vowed to protect her rights and warned fans against purchasing any unauthorized publications. ODDATELIER urged fans to be cautious and reassured them that all necessary legal measures are being taken to prevent further harm to the artist.

"We ask that you be careful about purchasing illegally produced publications and take special precautions to avoid being harmed in this regard." The agency mentioned.

Jennie to feature in My Name is Gabriel

JTBC’s entertainment program My Name is Gabriel announced on September 3 that BLACKPINK’s Jennie will appear in episodes 13 and 14, set to air on September 27 and October 4, respectively. The show has drawn significant attention as the idol will live the life of someone away from her fame.

According to the production team, she will take on the role of Maria, a 1996-born farmhouse bed and breakfast owner in a small village near Rome, Italy. For 72 hours, she will experience a completely different lifestyle, engaging in tasks such as welcoming guests, cooking, organizing banquets, and even taking cooking lessons.

Fans eagerly anticipate how she will showcase her unique charm in this unfamiliar setting. In conjunction with the announcement, her character poster was released, further fueling excitement.

The poster features images in the background showcasing her smiling brightly while cooking and spending time with her peers. This offers a glimpse into her transformation as the guesthouse owner, Maria. With the BLACKPINK member's appearance, the full lineup of the eight 'Gabriels' has been unveiled.

The program, which follows participants as they live someone else’s life for 72 hours under a different identity, has featured various celebrities, including Park Bo-gum, Park Myung-soo, Yeom Hye-ran, Hong Jin-kyung, Ji Chang-wook, Dex, and Gabee.

Jennie will be the final participant, wrapping the season with a grand finale. The group poster of all eight 'Gabriels' has also been released, adding to the anticipation for her upcoming episodes.
