Netflix announces Squid Game season 3 prospective release date along with season 2
The third and final season of the thriller show has been renewed. The season will be released in 2025, as announced by Netflix. In an emotional message to fans, series director, writer, and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk announced the news earlier this month.
He wrote in the letter:
“I am beyond excited to be writing this letter to announce the date for Season 2 and share the news of Season 3, the final season. The fierce clash between two worlds will continue into the series finale with Season 3, which will be brought to you next year."
The third season of Squid Game, which will continue in the fast-paced vein of its predecessors, was hinted at in Hwang's letter. The filmmaker acknowledges Front Man's standing as a formidable foe and Gi-hun's startling promise of retaliation against the game in Season 2.
