BTS' Taehyung shares an Instagram update before attending IU's Encore stage in Seoul
For those unfamiliar, Taehyung and IU collaborated on Love Wins All before V began his mandatory military service in December 2023. The track was officially released on January 24, 2024, through IU's agency, Edam Entertainment, serving as the lead single from her sixth Korean EP, The Winning.
Reports suggest that the BTS star might have been on a short leave from his military duties, allowing him to attend IU's concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
Before his appearance at the event, Taehyung shared an Instagram story on his account @thv, featuring a behind-the-scenes image from the making of Love Wins All. Fans speculated that this could have been a subtle hint of his upcoming presence at the concert.
Love Wins All dominated South Korean music shows, winning eight first-place trophies including a triple crown on Inkigayo. At the time of writing, the music video has surpassed 77 million views.
The track also climbed to number 25 on the Billboard Global 200, took the third spot on the US World Digital Song Sales chart, and landed at number 80 on the Japan Hot 100.
Meanwhile, Taehyung is currently serving in the military and is anticipated to complete his service, along with other BTS members by June 2025.
