The show, hosted by the renowned American singer and actress, has recently gone viral for its distinctive way of welcoming guests. The show features what Hudson and her team call the “Spirit Tunnel,” where celebrity guests walk through a corridor of staff who sing personalized songs to energize and celebrate them before they step on stage. This time, they welcomed Lee Jung-jae, who danced along to the tune.

The moment has taken social media by storm, garnering over 24.1M views on X (formerly Twitter), over 50.8M on TikTok, and 23.6M on Instagram. Netizens have praised Jennifer Hudson and her team for their inclusivity and thoughtfulness in making Lee Jung-jae feel welcome. One fan said,

Netflix releases new poster for Lee Jung-jae starrer Squid game

Netflix released a new poster for Squid Game on January 10. The series, which revolves around a deadly survival competition with a staggering prize of 45.6 billion won, had its second season released on December 26.

Season 2 continues the story of Seong Gi-hun ( played by Lee Jung-jae), who abandons his plans to move to the United States to pursue personal objectives tied to the sinister game he triumphed in during season 1.

The newly unveiled poster highlights the intricate stories of both the participants and those orchestrating the games. Among the players are Gi-hun, who is returning for a second round, and Young-il (Lee Byung-hun), the Frontman.

Other competitors include Myung-gi (Im Si-wan), Dae-ho (Kang Ha-neul), Gyeong-seok (Lee Jin-uk), Hyun-ju (Park Sung-hoon), Yong-sik (Yang Dong-geun), Geum-ja (Kang Ae-shim), Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan), Seon Nyeo (Chae Gook-hee), and Jun Hee (Jo Yu-ri). The players' uniforms feature “O” and “X” patches, symbolizing their decision to either continue or withdraw from the games, leading to conflicts fueled by opposing beliefs.

On the other side of the competition, a Pink Guard removes her mask, revealing herself as No-eul (Park Gyu-young), who joined the brutal games out of financial desperation but struggles to hold onto her principles. Also among the Pink Guards is the enigmatic Recruiter (Gong Yoo), whose mysterious presence left a lasting impression on audiences in season 1.
