On June 16, 2024, iHeartRadio shared a video through their X account, featuring an interview with SEVENTEEN at the 2024 Weverse Con Festival held at the Inspire Entertainment Resort, Inspire Arena Discovery Park, between June 15 to June 16. During the conversation, Mingyu teased a possible year-end U.S. tour as he stated, translated to English by X user @gyumedia:

"We have an upcoming tour by the end of the year, and we'll be going to the U.S. to meet our CARATs there. We're very excited."

Weverse Con Festival is a renowned music festival conducted by the South Korean social media platform Weverse. It features multiple artists from the platform and those associated with HYBE Labels.

SEVENTEEN members hoped that CARATs were excited about their tour

During the interview, the American radio personality and host Jo Jo Wright spoke to the SEVENTEEN members about U.S. CARATs (the group's fandom name). He spoke about their eagerness for a potential tour in their country, and in response, Mingyu stated that the group members "really wanted to go on tour."

He also reminisced about SEVENTEEN's third world tour, Be The Sun in 2022. He further stated that the possible tour would be held "by the end of the year," increasing the anticipation among CARATs. Translated by X user @gyumedia, he hoped fans were excited and added:

"We're very excited, and I hope everyone's excited as well."

While CARATs expressed their happiness about the potential tour, fans from other countries, especially Europe, Spain, Latin America, Australia, East Asia, and the United Kingdom, questioned when the group would head to their regions. They complained about Pledis Entertainment and HYBE LABELS as they wished for their countries to be added to the world tour dates.
