On September 27, 2024, BTS' Jin sparked excitement and speculation among fans with a message posted on Weverse, a platform used by idols to interact with their fanbase. Jin’s post invited ARMY, BTS' dedicated fan community, to suggest YouTube shows or content ideas for him to participate in.

In his message, the idol mentioned that he was open to a variety of content, from eating shows to physical entertainment, drama shorts, singing, or even cooking. He encouraged fans to leave their suggestions on Weverse, promising to try and appear on the most popular options. However, what caught fans' attention the most was the closing line of his post, where he set a deadline for submissions,

"Deadline: September 27 at midnight (KST)."

This specific time frame, along with the artist's increased public presence since completing his military service in June, led to fan speculations. Netizens thought the announcement could be related to his much-awaited solo album, which is set to drop later this year.

As the deadline approached, ARMY flooded social media with theories, anticipating that the singer's message might hint at album promotions or a significant announcement regarding his solo project. A user on X, @7namkook7 wrote:

"I think Jin is starting to record promo for the album, we're getting close."
"Seokjinnie is so active. He's collecting data for his possible guestings means his album announcement is near!," a fan commented.
"Jin is gonna drop his album . And want to promote it in channel that army named," an X user mentioned.
"OMG is Jin asking for his album promo?!?!?! Whatever he is cooking, I'M SO SEATED FOR THEM ALL!!!!" another fan wrote.

Fans expressed their excitement, eager to see what the idol has in store for his return to the music scene. With his solo debut album expected soon, many believe the YouTube suggestions could tie into a promotional push for the new release.

"His album is coming and he asked about the promotions in the weverse live as well. This is so intense and i am so blank because i had dozed off. what are you suggesting?," a fan wrote on X.
"There's a deadline y'all," a netizen remarked.
"Jin including us in HIS decision about HIS album promotion. LOVE HIM SO MUCH," another person wrote.

More from BTS' Jin's recent Weverse update and his solo activities

After reaching out to fans for YouTube show suggestions, the singer-songwriter provided further clarification on Weverse. He humorously remarked that due to getting "pretty old," he couldn't participate in too many demanding programs. However, he reassured ARMY that they didn’t need to worry about challenging YouTube content, adding:

“Why? Because I’m a pro.”

Besides preparing for his solo album, BTS' eldest member got busy with several global brand partnerships since his military discharge in June. He became a brand ambassador for Fred, a French jewellery brand, and Italian luxury fashion giant, Gucci. He also represented Gucci at Milan Fashion Week on September 20, 2024.

Additionally, the singer was named Seoul Tourism Ambassador for the "Visit Seoul" campaign and recently became the first male ambassador for the beauty and skincare brand Laneige.

Most recently, the Epiphany singer posted a picture on Instagram wearing apparel from Alo, a premium American athletic wear brand. Since he tagged the company, this sparked speculation that a collaboration with the brand could be on the horizon. However, no official announcement has been made regarding a partnership with Alo yet.

Fans now await for an official announcement regarding Jin's highly anticipated solo debut album.
