On November 25, 2024, a South Korean media outlet, Herald Pop reported this news that has excited the global fandoms, with many praising the artistic effort behind the project.

HYBE LABELS unveiled the first teaser for Winter Ahead on November 24, 2024. The one-minute-and-23-second clip captivated audiences with its visuals and storytelling. Taehyung navigates a dreamlike narrative, transitioning from calm moments of solitude to vibrant party scenes.

The teaser was also showcased at Shinsegae Square, a high-profile digital display at the Shinsegae Department Store in South Korea. The second teaser is set to premiere on November 27, 2024, with similar screenings planned at Shinsegae Square.

Adding a layer of excitement, a cinematic version titled Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo-shin) Official MV (Cinematic Still Ver.) will be released on November 30, offering fans a fresh perspective on the song’s visual storytelling. Expressing their excitement for two music videos, an X user wrote:

Others chimed in, sharing their excitement about being treated to the artist's stunning visuals across two music videos and expressing their impatience for the releases.

Fans are already celebrating the return of Taehyung's holiday-themed releases, which have included hits like Snow Flower and Christmas Tree. Despite currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, V had completed the recording and filming for Winter Ahead prior to his enlistment.
