BLITZERS is a rising K-pop boy band known for their energetic performances and youthful energy. Debuting under WUZO Entertainment on May 12, 2021, BLITZERS quickly captured attention. BLITZERS also became one of the first K-pop artists to physically make their way and hold a concert in India on April 12, 2024.
This concert became a chance for the group to spread their popularity in South Asian regions. In May 2024, BLITZERS was spotted on the stage of Britain's Got Talent, much to the surprise of fans. There, they had the audience on their toes by showcasing the energy of Korean dance and music.

BLITZERS' concept revolves around youthful passion and determination, often symbolized by their group name, BLITZERS, which suggests a fast and powerful force. Their image is a mix of charismatic and edgy, reflected in their bold fashion choices and dynamic music videos.
BLITZERS is also known for their self-produced content, which includes behind-the-scenes footage, vlogs, and dance practice videos, allowing fans to connect with them on a personal level.
Despite being relatively new to the K-pop scene, BLITZERS has already begun to build a global fanbase. Their ability to perform in multiple languages, including English, has helped them reach international audiences. The group has also actively engaged with fans through social media, virtual fan meetings, and live performances.
To discuss their Indian voyage and other experiences, Sportskeeda's Rujula spoke to the group.
1. Namaste BLITZERS! Since you have visited India, I would like to say hello with Namaste. How was this concert?
Jinhwa: Namaste! The warmth of Indian Blees (fandom name) made the concert so enjoyable.
Juhan: Namaste, India! The concert in India has become a cherished memory.
Sya: The fans were so passionate in their responses. It was really a fun time.
Chris: It was amazing! So many Blees came, and their reactions were fantastic! I want to visit India again!
Lutan: This concert was so much fun! I hadn't had many opportunities to meet Blees recently, so this concert gave me renewed energy.
Wooju: Namaste! The audience's cheers during the concert were incredible, which gave me so much strength.
2. Can you tell us the reason you have decided to come all the way to India for a concert? How much potential do you see in the Indian market?
Chris: We were able to come because there are Blees in India who have been waiting for and supporting us.
Lutan: That's right. We'll go anywhere Blees are! I've heard there are a lot of K-pop fans in India, and we really felt that during our concert. I hope this concert is just the beginning and that we can meet even more people in India in the future.
3. How do you feel your music has evolved since your debut?
Jinhwa: As we experience various kinds of music, we're gradually finding our own distinct preferences and direction.
Juhan: As we discover our group's unique color, each member is also finding their individual style.
4. Have you ever found yourself drawn to Bollywood music?
Sya: We listened to Indian music while traveling to the venue, and there were several songs that I found really good.
Wooju: Yes, me too! The lively sound of Bollywood music and the way everyone enjoys it is very appealing.
5. Can you share any details about your upcoming projects or collaborations?
Lutan: We're preparing various projects. We're working hard to show you our best soon, so please look forward to it and support us!
6. A few days ago, you left the fans curious after being spotted on the stage of Britain's Got Talent. Can you guys tell us about that experience?
BLITZERS: Fans can go and enjoy our performances on Britain's Got Talent's YouTube channel.
7. How do you balance your individual personalities within the group dynamic?
Jinhwa: We're fine-tuning our teamwork through communication. By sharing ideas and opinions, we enhance our collaboration.
Juhan: We try to respect each other and give and receive advice, and that helps us balance our teamwork.
Wooju: We complement each other's weaknesses, but above all, I think we naturally align when we have fun together.
8. What has been the most memorable moment of your career so far?
Jinhwa: Performing in front of an audience for the first time after only doing shows without one due to COVID-19 is my most memorable moment.
Juhan: Right now, the most memorable moment is our recent concert in India!
Sya: The first fan concert we held in Korea is the most memorable for me. Since it was our first concert in our home country, it had a special significance.
Chris: The most memorable time for me was during our activities for the album Macarena.
Lutan: There are so many memorable moments! Tours and concerts in various cities stand out the most for me.
Wooju: It's hard to pick just one, but I want to create more memorable moments in the future.
9. Upon returning home from practice or shoot schedules, what is the first thing you typically do?
Jinhwa: I work out.
Juhan: As soon as I get home, I wash my hands and communicate with fans.
Sya: Lately, I think I just lie down and look at my phone.
Chris: I usually work out. I believe physical fitness is essential, so I prioritize it!
Lutan: I lie on the sofa and chat with fans on Bubble.
Wooju: The first thing I do is take a shower.
10. Have you taken the time to learn any Hindi words in preparation for your visit?
Chris: I thought it would be nice to communicate with Indian fans in their language, so I prepared a few simple words in advance.
Sya: Yes, we all memorized several words to at least greet fans in Hindi. We also studied Mizo, the language of the region we performed in.
11. Are there any specific Indian cuisines you're eager to try out during your time here?
Jinhwa: I've wanted to try naan for a long time.
Lutan: I've always wanted to try curry, as it's the most famous!
Wooju: I originally wanted to try Indian curry and naan, and I'm glad I had the chance to do so during this trip.
