“We understand”— Fans react as Weverse announces postponement of Jin’s BTS Island Live event over artist's schedule changes 

On October 28, 2024, a notice on Weverse announced the postponement of Jin’s BTS Island Live event due to changes in the artist's schedule. The Weverse notification of rescheduling read:

“We will inform you of the new schedule for the live broadcast after it is confirmed. We would like to sincerely apologize to all the fans who participated in the event and were waiting for the live.

“The ongoing event in BTS Island will be held as scheduled, and the hashtag event will end early, taking participation until 23:59 today (KST). However, the participation reward will be distributed the same, and we will announce the winners through a separate notice on November 13 (date is subject to change).”

Lastly, the notice stated that the new event would be planned per the changed live broadcast schedule.

BTS’ Jin’s fans showed much understanding of this postponement of the BTS Island Live event and flooded the internet, expressing their love and support for BTS' Jin.

While some speculated that the singer is currently shooting for a variety show in Busan, others suggested that Jin must rest as he has been working tirelessly.

Weverse notification for the BTS Island Live event with Jin was originally released on October 23

On October 23, 2024, Weverse released a notification sharing the details about the BTS Island Live event with Jin. As per the announcement, Kim Seokjin’s livestream was scheduled for Wednesday, October 30.

The notice also mentioned two events — the BTS Island Event Plaza Event and the Hashtag Event. While the details of the first event were not disclosed, the second event was about sharing, liking, and commenting on posts featuring the hashtag #Jin_intheseom_1030.

The winners of the hashtag event will be announced on November 13. The prizes for the winners are Weverse Shop Cash 30,000 KRW (for ten winners) and 10,000 KRW (for 20 winners).
