GOT7 to celebrate their 11th anniversary with a concert in Seoul
Despite parting ways with their original agency, JYP Entertainment, in January 2021 and pursuing solo careers under different agencies, GOT7 has remained steadfast in their commitment to the group. Upon their departure, the members assured fans that the group would not disband, expressing their determination to continue group activities. JYP Entertainment supported this by transferring the group's trademark rights to the members, allowing them to continue as a collective.
Adding to the excitement of their reported upcoming February concert in Seoul, the group will release a new mini-album, Winter Heptagon, on January 20, 2025. The album's planning and production are being managed in collaboration with Kakao Entertainment, which is supporting GOT7's group activities.
They debuted in 2014 under JYP Entertainment, following the success of the pre-debut project duo JJ Project, featuring JB and Jinyoung. The group also includes vocalists Youngjae and Yugyeom, Taiwanese-American member Mark, Thai member BamBam, and Jackson Wang, a former fencing athlete. Over the years, the septet established itself as one of JYP's leading boy groups, achieving worldwide fame with hits like If You Do and Hard Carry.
With the release of Winter Heptagon and their long-awaited reunion concert, Ahgase (GOT7 fandom name) are thrilled to witness the group's fresh music all over again.
