BTS’ j-hope is reportedly set to release his next solo album in the first half of 2025. This update was shared by Newsis reporter Bae Yo-han via Naver on January 8, 2025. While the article primarily focused on BTS’s anticipated return as a full group by June, it also highlighted Hobi's individual activities.

Having completed his military service in October 2024, he is reported to be working on his solo project. Following the news, many are eagerly speculating about the possibility of a solo world tour accompanying the album’s release. One fan shared:

"OMG, HOBI! So excited for this!! Can’t wait to hear what you’ve been working on. We’ve been waiting for this moment, and it’s finally almost here! Wishing you all the best as you prepare to share your amazing music with the world."

Although no official confirmation has been provided by either j-hope or his agency, the news has already generated large-scale excitement among fans. Fans’ anticipation continues to grow as they await further announcements.

"EVERYONE IS WAITINGGGG," a fan exclaimed.
"The Dance King Drops His Next Masterpiece — Coming Soon!" a fan said.
"Another masterpiece can't wait," a fan claimed.

Another set of fans commented,

"Hobi world tour is coming," a fan affirmed.
"THE JHOPE WORLD TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT IS COMING," a fan expressed.
"Ace of kpop is back," a fan remarked.

ARMYs look forward to BTS and j-hope's comeback

With the start of the new year, HYBE's stock price has reportedly shown a steady upward trend, driven by improved performance expectations and anticipation of a full BTS comeback. Analysts attribute this growth to the rising excitement surrounding BTS’ return as a complete group once all members finish their military service by June 2025.

HYBE’s stock has reportedly risen consistently for six consecutive trading days, reflecting market optimism. This surge is largely credited to BTS’ anticipated group activities, with fans and investors eagerly awaiting their return.

In the first half of 2025, BTS member j-hope is reportedly set to release a new solo album. Ahead of this, his 2018 track Blue Side from Hope World has experienced a resurgence, climbing the charts once again.

According to recent industry reports, Blue Side recently ranked 3rd on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart and 13th on the Digital Song Sales chart, signaling renewed interest and enthusiasm from fans toward the artist's project.

Since his discharge from military service in October 2024, j-hope has not released new music but has dropped hints about potential solo projects. During his second Weverse live since his discharge, fans flooded the chat with questions about a potential tour. To their surprise, he responded with a playful acknowledgment, saying:

"You guys want a tour, right?"

This interaction sparked speculation, with fans interpreting it as a possible hint at an upcoming tour.

Further fueling these rumors was the December 2024 airing of the 15th episode of Run Jin, featuring j-hope spending a day with bandmate Jin. During a meeting scene, he was heard referencing a schedule starting in early March 2025. Fans believe this could be linked to his potential solo tour or album promotion.

Speculation suggests his next solo album might drop in March 2025. If released, it would be his 4th solo project, following Hope World, Jack in the Box, and HOPE ON THE STREET Vol.1.

While BTS’s contribution to HYBE's revenue significantly decreased from 70% in 2021 to just 16% in 2024, analysts predict a dramatic recovery in 2025. BTS' return to group activities is expected to generate over 1 trillion KRW in revenue for HYBE.

With j-hope’s comeback gaining momentum and BTS’ group return on the horizon, excitement continues to build among fans.
