On December 18, BTS' Jungkook surprised his fans by appearing live on Weverse without any prior announcement. During his livestream, Jungkook talked about Taehyung’s friend and recent collaborator, Park Hyo-shin. He revealed his plans to meet jazz musician Park Hyo-shin before his discharge from the military in June 2025.

“I have Hyoshin hyung's phone number. He's good at singing. I asked him to teach me singing and promised to go see him. I hope to see him before I'm discharged. Please contact me. No, I‘ll contact you,” Jungkook said.

In addition to referencing his name, BTS' Jungkook sang Park Hyo-shin's song Goodbye during live streaming. The references and meeting plans with Park Hyo-shin prompted speculation among Jungkook's supporters over a possible collaboration.

Consequently, Jungkook's fans inundated the internet with their eagerness and enthusiasm regarding a potential collaboration with Hyo-shin following Taehyung's recent partnership with Hyo-shin on the song Winter Ahead. Expressing this enthusiasm, one user on X wrote:

“It's so adorable how jk gets adopted by all of tae's friends. It's like he comes with the package. Bet the hyungs won't shut up about him no matter where they are. Reminds me of both yoongi and seokjin as well. Our Jungkookie is so loved,” commented a fan.
“These two collabing would sound heavenly,” stated an admirer.

Some stated their collab would be the “most exciting” one, while others claimed BTS' Jungkook and Park Hyo-shin "would be perfect together."

“OMG, that would be the most exciting collab EVER! At least for me it would be,” wrote another fan.
