Hyun Bin and Lee Dong-wook took over social media as they appeared at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of their upcoming film Harbin. On September 8, Hyun Bin and Lee Dong-wook's period film was screened at the Gala presentation of the TIFF.
Before the film's screening, the two South Korean actors stole the show with their red carpet entrance garnering loud cheers from the audience. They were seen posing for the cameras while also interacting with fans.
Harbin duo's clips and photos from the 2024 TIFF red carpet went viral on social media as fans were surprised by the reaction from the audiences present. The official X (formerly Twitter) page of the Toronto International Film Festival shared a post delivering the audience's reaction to the Harbin actors. They stated:

On September 9, Harbin premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, for the first and is yet to be released in theaters. The film is set in 1909 and follows the story of a group of freedom fighters who plan an attack on Japanese rulers in Harbin, China. Hyun Bin plays the role of Ahn Jung-geun, an Independence activist who leads the attack on the Japanese.
One of Ahn Jung-geun's teammates is an informant of the rulers, creating a hindrance in their way. Meanwhile, Lee Dong-wook depicts the character of Lee Chang-seop another freedom fighter who is clashing with Ahn Jung-geun.
Netizens shared their review online following the screening of the period film at 2024 TIFF, stating that the film captivated the audience. In particular, Jeon Yeo-been garnered attention with a scene.
She portrays the role of Gong Bu-in, a noble lady and a freedom fighter from Vladivostok. The film cast also featured Jo Woo-jin, Park Jung-min, Yoo Jae-myung, and Park Hoon.
Harbin is expected to be released in cinemas in December 2024.
