On Tuesday, June 11, HYBE Labels' headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, had the word APOBANGPO plastered over its building. It was a part of the celebration of BTS' 2024 FESTA, their 11th debut anniversary, and Jin's return from his mandatory military service. The word is an acronym shared between BTS and their fandom, to showcase their ever-lasting and thriving relationship with each other.

This phrase was developed with the inspiration of RM's latest solo album, Right Place Wrong Person. The hashtag, therefore, communicated fans' belief that the big sticker plastered across HYBE's celebrating the relationship between BTS and ARMYs was rightfully and appropriately placed.

On June 13, BTS celebrates their debut anniversary, known as BTS FESTA, with events and releases like new music, content, and merchandise. This year, the 11th anniversary is different because the members are currently enlisted in the military. Despite their absence, they still prepared some special surprises for their fans, the ARMYs.

Jungkook released his single, Never Let Go, expressing his undying and deep love for ARMY, and a 2024 BTS FESTA Livestream was also rolled by BigHit Entertainment, where fans revisited three of the group's finale concerts. However, the celebrations didn't stop there. HYBE took the celebrations a step further and plastered "APOBANGPO" across their headquarters building.

The phrase or acronym APOBANGPO was created by the group's maknae, Jungkook in 2019. When the idol was chatting with the ARMYs at one of the fan cafes, he created this acronym as a symbol of undying love between BTS and the ARMYs. Therefore, fans felt that HYBE's APOBANGPO sticker was a perfect way to celebrate the occasion.

On the other hand, the sticker was not just for BTS 2024 FESTA but also for Jin's military discharge. The eldest member of the seven-piece K-pop group joined his mandatory military enlistment in December 2022. Following the successful completion of his service for 18 months as an active drill instructor, the idol will be returning on June 12, right in time for BTS' 2024 FESTA celebrations.

The idol will also be organizing an event for 1000 lucky ARMYs who were chosen through a rally conducted by Weverse. The selected members will not only get a light hug from Jin but will also get to see him perform his solo tracks.
