On July 22, 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC released BTS Jimin's ‘MUSE’ Jacket Shoot Sketch on BANGTANTV. The YouTube video captured the singer-songwriter's unseen footage from his album concept photo shoot and teaser video filming. The BTS idol changed into several outfits to portray various personas through his pictures.
Jimin faced the camera in the photo sketch film and indicated the number "13" that was drawn on him. He also showed off his bracelet bearing the same number and talked to the public about the well-known association between the number and himself.
"Something you're all familiar with, 13! I drew it on my face. There's one here too!" He said in the video.
For the unversed, the number "13" represents his birthday, which falls on October 13. Furthermore, it also symbolizes "2013", the year BTS debuted. The Be Mine singer-songwriter also has a "13" tattooed on his left wrist. The connection was previously mentioned by the BTS idol to his fans on several occasions.

‘MUSE’ Jacket Shoot Sketch video showed unseen footage of BTS Jimin
The video opens with Jimin getting ready for the photo shoot and walking into a set made of smeraldo flowers. For the uninitiated, the fictional smeraldo flower was discovered by BTS in 2013 and has been used as a representation of the band's rise to fame after overcoming struggles.
He explained his decision to choose the fictional smeraldo flowers as one of the main elements for his photo sketch. The artist mentioned recalling fond memories of how BTS used "smeraldo flower" to communicate with their fans—ARMY.
Jimin added that while preparing MUSE, he was reminded of his band's song, The Truth Untold when they used the flower as a message for ARMY. The BTS idol shared the reason for naming one of his latest album tracks, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), after the flower. He said in the video,
"We've done some fun things with you with smeraldo in the past. I remember the 'The Truth Untold' was the keyword that we used to communicate with you in the past. We brought that smeraldo back again to give it a meaning of 'The band that delivers the truth untold.' I thought it would be nice to include lots of band elements this time."
He concluded the 6 minutes 27 seconds long ‘MUSE’ Jacket Shoot Sketch video by asking ARMY to misunderstand the concept photos once they get released. He hilariously added that he is curious to know fan theories on the subject and would look forward to their reactions.
MUSE by BTS Jimin was released on July 19, 2024, and consists of 7 tracks such as WHO, Be Mine, Rebirth: INTRO, Interlude: SHOWTIME, SLOW DANCE (Feat. Sofia Carson), Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), and Closer Than This.
Jimin also included a "Thank You" note in the album set where he mentioned that this would be his last album release till he returned from the military. The artist enlisted for mandatory service in the South Korean military on December 12, 2023, and will return in June 2025.
