South Korean actress Kim Soo-mi passed away on Friday, October 25, at the age of 75 due to a heart attack. That morning, she was taken to the Seoul St. Mary's Hospital in Seocho-gu at around 8 AM KST following the cardiac arrest. However, she was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.

The actress was reportedly found unconscious on the floor by her son at her house in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu. The exact details surrounding her death remain under investigation. Kim Soo-mi's mortuary will be set up at the funeral hall of Hanyang University Hospital, where she was admitted for her cardiac arrest.

She leaves behind her husband, Chung Chang-gyu, her daughter, Chung Ju-ri, her son, Chung Myung-ho, and her daughter-in-law, Seo Hyo-rim. Her daughter-in-law currently stands as a South Korean actress, and some of her works include Beautiful Gong Shim, Scent of a Woman, Man in the Kitchen, and more.
