BigHit Music shared a press release through the South Korean social media platform Weverse, revealing TXT's Beomgyu's health issues and upcoming schedule on June 19. The agency announced the idol had suffered an ankle sprain during one of his activities and shared,
"BEOMGYU recently sustained an injury during one of his activities, which required a hospital visit. He was diagnosed with an ankle sprain, specifically an ankle ligament injury."

The BigHit Music further elaborated that TOMORROW X TOGETHER member would take a temporary hiatus from his upcoming activities to recover from his ankle ligament injury.
TXT's Beomgyu cannot attend Paris Fashion Week
BigHit Music disclosed in their press release that the medical experts have suggested a complete rest for TXT's Beomgyu for the time being. As a result, the idol cannot indulge in the scheduled activities. The agency further asked for MOAs (The TXT fandom) understanding and shared:
"Based on the medical staff's recommendation for ample rest, BEOMGYU will be unable to participate in some of his pre-arranged engagements, including Paris Fashion Week. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding this matter."
The agency elaborated on how Beomgyu insisted on carrying out his scheduled activities because of his sincere attitude towards his career and fans. However, they prioritized his healing and stated:
"Although BEOMGYU has expressed his determination to fulfill all his scheduled commitments, we have decided to adjust his participation to prioritize his recovery and heed the medical staff's advice. We are committed to supporting BEOMGYU’s recovery and ensuring he can return to his fans in full health as soon as possible. Thank You."
Soon, the news about TXT's Beomgyu's ankle injury circulated on social media, leaving MOAs concerned and worried. They started sharing multiple snippets, sending encouragement and support for the idol. The fandom stated that the idol worries if things go astray and hence they left thoughtful words for him on Weverse. Subsequently, they started trending phrases, including "WE LOVE YOU BEOMGYU," "GET WELL SOON BEOMGU," and others.
However, it is not the first time Beomgyu has witnessed health issues. He recently left the stage as he had a nosebleed during TXT's Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles concert on May 21, 2024. The performance was part of the group's US leg of the 2024 TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR ACT: PROMISE. The members had back-to-back concerts on May 18 and May 21, respectively, which took a toll on the mental and physical health of the members.
