On Monday, September 30, it was reported that the South Korean actress Park Ji-ah passed away at the age of 52 at 2:50 AM after suffering an Ischemic Stroke. The actress was reported to have been battling an undisclosed illness for the past few years, and the Korean media outlet JTBC reported that she passed away due to cerebral infarction.

She reportedly collapsed and was taken to the hospital for treatment. After battling the Ischemic Stroke in the hospital, she was unable to recover and passed away. Following the news of her death, several people have been mourning her loss.

Given that the actress recently gained more recognition and fame through her role as Jung Min-hee in the K-drama series, The Glory, there's been a flood of posts on grieving Park Ji-ah's unfortunate death. She played the mother of the series' female lead, Moon Dong-eun, played by Song Hye-kyo.

As she grows up, she slowly reenters the life of her bullies to get revenge. The show gained a lot of attention and was commended for its script, direction, the actor's performance, plot progression, etc.

Her agency, BILLIONS, released a statement revealing more details regarding her upcoming funeral:

"The funeral of the deceased has been set up at funeral hall 2 at the Asan Medical Center. The funeral procession will take place on October 2 at 10 AM. BILLIONS will forever remember the passion the deceased had, as she loved acting right until the end. Once again, we express our deepest condolences to the deceased, and may she rest in peace."

She is survived by her daughter born through a previous marriage. Netizens continue to mourn the death of the actress.
