On September 11, 2024, BTS' j-hope posted a picture with American singer and songwriter, Pharrell Williams on Instagram. The Jack in The Box rapper-songwriter's last online post was on April 10, 2024, when he attended the HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1 pop-up event in Seoul, South Korea, on his day off from the military.
The latest Instagram update cheered his fans once again as the artist came home on a day off amidst his ongoing military enlistment and met Pharrell Williams. j-hope captioned his photo with:
"Can't wait for 2025"
Additionally, BTS' Kim Namjoon aka RM left a comment on his member's post and wrote,
"Next year, please come faster"
The BTS ARMY went into an online frenzy over the latest update. Speculations ran amuck of j-hope's alleged future collaboration with Pharrell Williams. One fan wrote,

BTS fans took social media platform X by storm as the post went viral online with thousands of retweets and reposts. They wondered if j-hope or BTS has a collaboration lined up with Pharrell Williams.
"NEXT YEAR WILL BE CRAZY PLS IM GOING INSANE," one fan wrote.
"universe please make uri joon's wish come true, 2025 come faster pleaseeee," another fan said.
"A comeback for Hobi already and with the grammy award winning singer songwriter and producer Pharrell??? Lesgo Kings!!! Paving the WAY!" another fan added.
Others rallied behind Namjoon's wish for 2025 to arrive sooner so that BTS members could return from the military and reunite with their fans.

BTS' rapper, Jung Ho-seok, aka j-hope, enlisted in the South Korean military on April 18, 2023. A year later, he released his second solo album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1, on March 29, 2024, via his agency BIGHIT MUSIC (now HYBE Labels).
He also released his second solo docuseries, HOPE ON THE STREET, a day prior on March 28, on Prime Video. Six of the album's tunes served as the original soundtracks (OST) for each of the six docuseries episodes.
The series encapsulated j-hope's journey through Gwanju, Osaka, New York, and more, as he met pioneers from the hip-hop dance industry and grooved with them on the streets. It also chronicled the rapper's journey from Gwanju's NEURON dance group to debut as one of the members of the world-famous boy band, BTS.
BTS' Jung Ho-seok is set to be discharged from the military in October 2024, while Namjoon will return in June 2025 along with Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, and Taehyung.
