Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island featuring BTS' Kim Seok-jin is set to release its next episode on August 26, 2024, at 9 PM (KST). The forthcoming episode will be aired on MBC's official website, iMBC, and on the Korean OTT platform, Wavve.
It is important to note that the upcoming episode is the 16th segment of the ongoing variety show. However, the BTS idol joined the show as a guest and will be seen in a few of its episodes.
On August 19, MBC aired the episode featuring the BTS star and later it also aired the preview of the next episode. Along with the ensemble, Jin could be seen searching for herbs in the forest and collecting shells and scallops from the seashore. He then goes fishing, where the group appears to be struggling for hours to catch any fish.

The first episode of Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island opened with the BTS idol joining the cast of the variety show on an island where they were to renovate an abandoned house and turn it into a hotel. Additionally, they would have to cook and prepare everything from scratch and invite locals to taste their food.
BTS' Jin showed his chopping and cooking skills as he prepared an abalone gimbap. He also prepared "mulhwa", a raw fish Korean delicacy, impressing everyone. He demonstrated his exceptional knife abilities by expertly chopping oysters and conch.
The cast also included celebrity chef Lee Yeon-bok, who is known to share a close friendship with the BTS idol. Earlier, Lee Yeon-bok taught Jin how to make a fried shrimp dish in the idol's COOKING VLOG in 2022.
Later, they served the food to locals, who praised the team for preparing a delicious meal. One woman got emotional over the taste of Jin's abalone gimbap, stating that she thoroughly enjoyed the meal prepared by the Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island cast.
Meanwhile, the BTS singer was discharged from the military on June 12, 2024. He hosted an in-person solo fan event on June 13 and celebrated BTS' 11th anniversary with 4,000 lucky fans. On July 8, he signed with FRED as the luxury brand's first-ever global ambassador.
Following this, he attended the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch Relay on July 14 and carried the Olympic Flame. On August 8, he was announced as GUCCI's brand ambassador. The BTS idol will be featured on the September cover issue of Harper's BAZAAR Korea x GUCCI.
