Netflix recently launched its first Korean culinary show, Culinary Class Wars, on September 17, 2024, featuring 100 chefs. The contestants, including both professional and amateur chefs, compete to become the best in Korea. Their identities are kept somewhat ambiguous, as they go by nicknames.

In the show, the 100 chefs compete against each other to become the best chefs in Korea. Culinary Class Wars will be judged by the most renowned chefs in Korea, Paik Jong-won and Chef Anh Sung-jae. So far, four episodes have been released, and fans are excited and intrigued about what more the show has in store for them. The South Korean reality cooking show, Culinary Class Wars, deals with 80 Black Spoon Chefs, who are underdogs in the industry, fight against 20 elite White Spoon Chefs in the industry through a series of cooking tasks. The judge chefs have also been an intriguing part of the show.

Paik Jong-won is a chef who's appeared in several TV programs and variety shows, including his own series called 2021’s Paik’s Spirit. Chef Anh Sung-jae on the other hand is also renowned in the culinary field of South Korea. He stands as the chef of the three-starred Mosu Seoul restaurant. On the other hand, the other episodes of the show follow a schedule for the release on Netflix.

Episodes 5 to 7 of Culinary Class Wars will be released on September 24 and episodes 8 to 10 will be released on October 1. The last two episodes, which will stand as Culinary Class Wars' finale, are scheduled to roll out on October 8.
