The 2024 K-World Dream Awards began in 2017 and were previously known as the Soribada Best K-Music Awards, often referred to as SOKA or SOBA. The South Korean music streaming platform, Soribada presents the award ceremony. The awards honor excellence and celebrate the best K-pop releases of that year.
The 2024 K-World Dream Awards will award the best K-pop releases between September 2023 and August 2024. In addition to the award ceremony, the K-World Dream Awards will also showcase performances by popular K-pop groups, like NCT 127, TXT, aespa, and ZEROBASEONE.

The 2024 K-World Dream Awards will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Fans who are unable to attend the event in person will be able to view its live broadcast on the platform Hello Live. Fans in Japan will be able to view the event exclusively through the video service platform, Lemino.
The K-World Dream Awards celebrate K-pop artists based on their performances on the presenter's music streaming platform, Soribada. Internal data on their performance is gathered and compiled with fans' online and mobile votes from all around the world.
However, an additional layer of ratings from professional critics and judges is also added to choose the final winners. The performances are the second most exciting part of all South Korea-based award shows. This list has the performance lineup for the 2024 K-World Dream Awards:

The event will be live-streamed in real-time through Hello Live, which is accessible across the world other than Japan. However, those in Japan can tune into the show through Lemino.
The show will welcome Jun Hyun-moo and Jang Do-yeon as the MCs for a second consecutive year. While the award show is yet to begin, the winners of some of the categories have already been announced.
Two days before the official broadcast's schedules, the winners of the Best Song/Best Music Award were announced. The title was revealed to be shared by five K-pop artists:

Jeon Yu-jin won the Girl Solo Popularity Award, while Kim Jae-joong won the Boy Solo Popularity Award. Global UPick Choice, which required fans to vote through the platform UPick, was awarded to ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao.
While the official lineup was announced previously, the 2024 K-World Dream Awards revealed that the soloist, Lee Chaeyeon, will also be attending. However, her stance on the performance lineup is yet to be revealed.
