The fifth edition of TMEA, the 2024 Tencent Music Entertainment Awards, is scheduled to take place at the Galaxy Arena in Macau on Sunday, July 21. But before the awards, an Indoor Music Festival will occur on July 19 and 20 at the same venue as part of the award show.
Several K-pop artists, including NCT WISH, ZEROBASEONE, BoA, Epik High, and ILLIT, are expected to perform at the music festival. The event will be live-streamed through Weverse's official broadcasting website, where fans and netizens can tune in to watch.

The theme for this year's Tencent Music Entertainment Awards is "High Five. Music Drive." The award show, hosted by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, is expected to start with a grand opening of a two-day music festival event. It's the first time the award show is holding a pre-show through an indoor music festival.
The indoor music festival is scheduled to invite several artists from the Asian music industry, including artists from various genres, styles, and generations. The award ceremony will be held at the prestigious Galaxy Arena in Macau, which is about 3,000 square meters and can accommodate 16,000 people.
The partnership between Galaxy Arena and TME for the 2024 Tencent Music Entertainment Awards to organize this three-day event is to support Macau's City of Performing Arts. It is also held to attract fans from around the world and increase Macau and the country's tourism rates.
Galaxy Arena is also considered the largest indoor arena in Macau, with several advancements and luxury implementations in terms of lighting, seating area, and more.
