On Thursday, May 30, it was revealed that the Japanese actress, Kana Osawa, will be starring in BTS RM's upcoming music video for Domodachi. In the teaser posters, it was announced that two Japanese actors, Kana Osawa and Hiromu Sugita will star in it. The song is a b-side track to the idol's latest second studio album release, Right Place Wrong Person.
The Japanese actress, who's speculated to take on the main role in the music video, previously garnered attention for her role in a Japanese film, Amiko, released in 2022.
Amiko is a story that revolves around a young girl who is quite different from the children around her. The slice-of-life movie follows Amiko's journey, she's not only an outcast at her school but is also pained by her family circumstances.

Kana Osawa is a 12-year-old Japanese actress who was born on June 16, 2011. She kickstarted her career as a child actress in 2022 with the Japanese film, Amiko or This is Amiko. Following her succesful role in the film, she took part in a couple of other projects.
