On Wednesday, November 27, BTS' Taehyung shared an Instagram story featuring Tame Impala music project member Kevin Parker. The two musicians attended the Celine store opening dinner in Seoul along with Peter Utz, the Couture and Events Director at the fashion label.

For those unaware, Kevin Parker is an Australian singer, songwriter, record producer, and DJ, who is well-known for his psychedelic music project, titled Tame Impala.

The 38-year-old musician has released four albums under his project Tame Impala. Besides Kevin Parker, the other members are Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesizer), Jay Watson (synthesizer, vocals, guitar), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocals, synthesizer), and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocals).

The recent interaction between BTS' Taehyung and Kevin Parker at the Celine sparked speculations of their collaboration on the internet. BTS' Taehyung’s fans took to the internet with their anticipation for the duo’s potential joint project. To express this, one user on X stated:

BTS' Taehyung is preparing for the release of his upcoming solo Winter Ahead

On November 24, BTS’ V dropped the first teaser of his upcoming single Winter Ahead made in collaboration with Park Hyo-shin. Following this, another teaser came out on November 26.

The inaugural teaser of BTS' Taehyung’s Winter Ahead made history as it became the most viewed and liked music teaser by a K-pop soloist in 2024. It exceeded the previous record set by BLACKPINK’ Lisa’s single, Rockstar. Taehyung's first teaser crossed over 2.2 million views and 580k likes on YouTube.

BTS' Taehyung’s solo track will drop on November 29, 2024, at 2 pm KST via HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel.

As of this writing, Kim Taehyung is serving his military term. He kicked off his army duties in December 2023, alongside his bandmate RM. He is anticipated to reunite with the group in June 2025 after completing his military service.
