The South Korean actress Kim Shi-eun portrayed the character of Kim Young-mi, aka Player No.095, in the survival drama Squid Game 2. She was first spotted in the series during episode 4 at the time of the Six-legged Pentathlon game. While searching for a team, she immediately developed a bond with Cho Hyun-ju (played by Park Sung-hoon).
Subsequently, Player No.095 also won the Ddjaki round during the mini-game of Pentathlon. She quickly developed a rapport with other players, including Yong-sik, Geum-ja, and Hyun-ju. After going through several challenging situations, Kim Shi-eun decided to quit the game by joining the X group. The team decided to exit the life-threatening game.
However, Kim Shi-eun's character soon met her unexpected demise when she died in episode six. During the Mingle fame, Player 095 was left behind and killed as she was unable to enter the room with her teammates because of Lee Myung-gi (played by Im Siwan), who took her place instead.
For those unversed, Netflix dropped all seven episodes of Squid Game 2 on December 26, 2024.
