MYTRO is a five-member South Korean trot boy group set to debut under SM Entertainment and YAMYAM Entertainment, in partnership with TV Chosun. The group was formed through the reality show Falling for a Trot-dol: Lovestruck Noonas, which is set to air in October 2024.
The members include Tey, Yoonjae, Shohei, Chaepyoung, and Woohyeok. Unlike most rookie groups with younger members, MYTRO's lineup features a more mature age range, with members aged between 26 and 32.
The group is made up of four Korean members and one Japanese member. Although their official debut date has not yet been announced, the group's unique concept and age profile have already piqued the interest of fans.

Throughout nearly a week, the group’s official YouTube channel, @MYTRO_Official, shared introduction videos for each member. The group features several familiar faces, including former idols from other groups and actors.
Here is all you need to know about the five members of MYTRO:
1) TEY
Tey, whose real name is Han Ji-hyun, was born on June 18, 1992, making him the oldest member of MYTRO at 32 years old. He is a South Korean artist and has taken on the role of the group’s leader.
Before joining the group, Tey was a member of the K-pop group Mr. Mr and had also made a solo debut with the song Dangerous in 2015. His previous work in the industry, including his appearance on Mr. Trot 2, showcases his versatility as an artist.
2) YOONJAE
Born on February 10, 1993, Jung Yoon-jae, a South Korean native, transitioned into the music industry after initially establishing himself as an actor. At 31 years old, Jung has starred in several television dramas, such as Missing: The Other Side 2 and Boyhood.
His background in acting adds diversity to the group, giving him a dynamic presence on and off the stage.
3) SHOHEI
Shohei, full name Matsushima Shohei, is the only Japanese member of MYTRO. Born on December 16, 1996, Shohei, aged 27, was raised in Fukuoka, Japan, before moving to Korea to pursue his career.
He joined SM Entertainment in 2022 and quickly became a member of SM Rookies. He is known for his skills in rapping and DJing.
4) CHAEPYOUNG
Lim Chae-pyoung, born on October 1, 1997, is the group’s main vocalist. At 26 years old, he is known for his soft yet powerful voice. A South Korean native, he honed his skills at Howon University, where he studied music, and served in the military band during his service.
5) WOOHYEOK
Seo Woo-hyeok, born on July 14, 1998, is the youngest member of the group at 26 years old. Like some of his fellow members, Seo also has acting experience. He has appeared in several television dramas, including The Glory and Death’s Game.
Despite his young age, Seo is known for his cheerful and energetic personality, as well as his passion for cooking and fitness.
An official debut date for the group has not yet been announced.
