On January 21, the renowned Netflix series Singles Inferno 4 premiered episodes 5 and 6, much to fans' delight. The reality program continued to blend romance, competitiveness, and survival in these latest episodes, providing an exciting experience as contestants navigated love and challenges on a secluded island.
This week's episodes featured an exciting surprise with the introduction of new participants, intensifying the series' already complex complexities. The recent episodes introduced a new female member, Park Hae-lin, along with three additional male members.
For those unaware, Park Hae-lin (Wö₴) is a trainee from South Korea and a former pre-debut member of the girl band FAVEGIRLS. In October 2017, Hae-lin participated as a contestant in the competition show MIXNINE, where she represented her then-company, FAVE Entertainment.

Most recently, the actress played a role in the Korean movie Tarot, portraying a snack bar owner alongside Dex (Kim Jin Young). Her latest appearance as the catfish girl from Tarot was praised by Singles Inferno 4’s fans as she made a new entry in the competition.
Fans soon recognized her and flooded social media with compliments for the former idol trainee as she stole the show.
“Wait I just noticed new catfish girl Haelin is the snack bar owner in Dex movie Tarot. That’s why her face is so familiar,” remarked another fan.
“I knew I saw her somewhere,” another viewer said.
“Ah ha! That's why she's familiar nasa Mixnine siya. She's already pretty during her trainee days,” stated another fan.
While some said Park Hae-lin made the show “less boring,” others said her personality instantly improved the quality of Singles Inferno 4.

Park Hae-lin, 25, is a former idol trainee from Korea. She completed her education at Seoul Performing Arts High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Film Arts at Sejong University.
Hae-Iin dedicated several years to training at JYP Entertainment, MNH Entertainment, and Play M Entertainment, and participated as a competitor in the survival TV competition MIXNINE with limited success.
In October 2018, she was declared a contender for the female group WEEEKLY. However, she opted to leave the industry before the final selection. In February 2020, she appeared on an episode of I Can See Your Voice 7, during which she voiced disinterest in pursuing a career as an idol.
