Peder Elias has confirmed his upcoming track Hey Hello featuring the ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo. On Friday, August 9, the Norwegian singer in an interview with 730, opened up about his upcoming activities and revealed that the Hey Hello will be soon released on music service platforms.
Peder Elias is a Norwegian singer-songwriter born on January 14, 1997, who started his musical career on August 24, 2018, with the single Simple. The singer released his first album Love & Loneliness in 2022 and is widely known for his collaboration with Korean artists like SEVENTEEN’s BSS, (G)I-DLE's Yuqi, and many more.
Peder Elias had previously performed the unreleased song Hey Hello live at Just One 10 Minute Mystery Elevator on July 6, Cha Eun-woo’s fan concert in Seoul.

In an interview with 730, the singer said,
“The rumor that I'll be featuring the Korean world star Cha Eun Woo on my next song is out of the bag, so I'm really looking forward to our song "Hey Hello" very, very soon seeing the light of day!”
How did Cha Eun-woo and Peder Elias become friends? From covering song to official collaboration
In November 2022, ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo made a cover of the song Bonfire by and with Peder Elias on YouTube. Besides the track, they also dropped a behind-the-scenes video where they discussed how they became friends.
The actor was a fan of the Norwegian singer and had sent him a DM on Instagram however, the latter had missed responding to the message. He spoke about not receiving a message from the singer and joked that he was sad about it as a fan.
Elias’s manager was connected with Cha Eun-woo and his team and their friendship got stronger as they continued to text each other and were often in contact.
In an interview with Tidal, he revealed,
“I first connected with Eun-woo through Instagram DMs. Actually, I missed his message and left him hanging for months — which I still feel so bad about. Luckily, my manager knows him and his team well and made sure I saw the message.”

In 2022, Peder Elias dropped his first Korean collaboration song named Darling with the South Korean singer SURAN. He also joined hands with the Chinese member of (G)I-DLE, Yuqi, for the 2022 Genie Music Awards stage performance. They performed If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys.
About his experience working with Yuqi, he said,
“I did a collaboration stage at the Genie Awards with Yuqi. She’s super talented, very chill and easy to work with.”
The same year, he was also interviewed by Red Velvet vocalist Wendy on the SBS radio show Young Street, where she worked as a DJ.
Elias also collaborated with SEVENTEEN’s sub-unit BSS of three members Hoshi, DK, and Seungkwan. He was featured on BSS' song 7PM, added to their album SECOND WIND released in February 2023.
Peder Elias was also featured on SEVENTEEN's YouTube video, where they had some Korean food and discussed their collaboration. In October 2023, Elias met Vernon and created a video where they pretended to be each other. This was because the two singers are widely known by fans for their similarities in voice and looks.
