Single's Inferno 4’s Bae Ji-yeon reminds fans of Park Se-jeong from the second season as fans believe she is being ignored by the male contestants. On January 13, 2025, Single's Inferno 4’s first four episodes were released, where it was observed that several connections between the contestants have been making progress as they get to know each other.

Bae Ji-yeon caught fans' attention for her appearance, with some noting she resembles TWICE's Sana. Fans recalled Park Se-jeong from season two, who also left the show alone despite being attractive.

In the first episode, Bae Ji-yeon wasn't paired with any male contestants and was left alone on the island in episode 3, becoming the first female contestant to spend a night alone. Later, Kim Tae-hwan showed interest in her, but fans worry she may leave the show single.

Single's Inferno alumni Dex shows interest in Bae Ji-yeon from season 4

Netflix's widely known South Korean dating show Single's Inferno has returned with the fourth season and new faces who are looking for love and deep connection on a stranded island.

With the release of the first four episodes of Single's Inferno 4, contestants have gone on several dates meeting new people, and surprisingly a former participant of the show, Dex, has shown his interest in Bae Ji-yeon, a current contestant.

Dex, aka Kim Jin-young, joined the panel of the show in season 3 and has returned as a panelist once again. While watching the show, Dex mentioned that Bae Jin-young looked similar to TWICE's vocalist Sana, who is his favorite K-pop idol. Furthermore, he stated if he were on the show, he would have approached her and taken her on a date to paradise.
