On August 15, 2024, BTS Jimin's father's café changed its name from "MAGNATE" to "ZMILLENIAL." The Busan-based café was established in 2019 and was operated by the father of the BTS idol. Fans from across the world have visited the place to honor Jimin and his family.

Jimin's father, Park Hyun-soo, uploaded a post on the café's official account to inform his customers and the idol's fans about the new change. Additionally, the Instagram username was also changed to @zmillennial_cafe. And the establishment's front door sign was changed from "MAGNATE" to "Z-MILLENIAL" in bold letters.

In the Instagram post, they revealed that another business attained the trademark rights of the name "Magnate." Hence, Jimin's family decided to rebrand their café name to eliminate any misunderstanding. They declared that they would like to clarify that they are not connected to any social media accounts, product sales, or businesses that operate under the name "MAGNATE."

"Our cafe, previously known as “Magnate” in Busan, will be changing its name to “ZMILLENNIAL.” This change is due to an unrelated company having registered the “Magnate” trademark and attempting to sell products under this name."

They politely requested that consumers exercise caution to prevent any discomfort from buying goods from unaffiliated suppliers. They value your ongoing support and are excited to serve clients under their new brand, "ZMILLENNIAL."

"The name “ZMILLENNIAL” combines “MILLENNIAL,” signifying a thousand years, with “Z,” representing the MZ generation. The owner chose this name to reflect our desire to build a long-lasting connection with the MZ generation."

A ton of fans' memories remain attached to Jimin's dad's café MAGNATE

Lifestyle Asia reported that the area was once a factory or industrial unit. Later, it was purchased by the BTS idol and developed into the "MAGNATE" café. Following this, ARMY flocked from across the globe to visit the place and meet Jimin's father.

Much to fans' delight, several autographed CDs by BTS, Jimin's pictures, and his assortment of hats are all on display as part of the café's exhibition. Reportedly, the interiors of the café consist of industrial décor, long lounge seats, vibrant artwork, and a huge chandelier.

They expanded and opened a branch in Japan on December 16, 2023, in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. They also introduced their merch line under the same name, ZMILLENNIAL.

Meanwhile, on August 15, 2024, fans commented on the Instagram post and showed their excitement to visit the rebranded café. However, they expressed on social media that they will miss "MAGNATE" and its deep connection with the BTS ARMY.

In other news, the BTS idol is currently serving in the military and will return in June 2025. His reality travel show, Are You Sure?!, aired its third episode on Disney+ and features bandmate, Jungkook.
