Why is "#HYBE STOP SABOTAGING JIN" trending on X? Fans enraged over alleged lack of posts promoting the BTS' idol's activities

Fans of BTS Jin's fans are furious over the alleged lack of promotion of the K-pop idol by BIGHIT MUSIC and its parent company HYBE on their social media pages. The eldest BTS member concluded his military service and was discharged on June 12, 2024. Since the dischargement, the Moon singer has filmed multiple content.

Jin appeared on the variety show Half-star Hotel In Lost Island, the Japanese show I Love Everyone's Zoo and solo entertainment shows like RUN JIN. He also participated in brand endorsement photoshoots as an ambassador of FRED, GUCCI, and Seoul City.

However, fans noticed that none of the updates regarding his activities have been shared through the official Instagram page of the group. This has concerned many fans of the K-pop idol as they believe, the agency is allegedly not promoting him like other members. On social media platform X, they have expressed their disappointment in BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE using the hashtag:

"why is the company not promoting Seokjin, the only artist of BTS who has been discharged? why? is this what you promised us? why don't you respect Jin and his fans?"- another fan said

" The company acts as if Jin is not in BTS. There was no news of Jin being discharged from the military, no Olympic torch relay, and no promotion for RunJin. Why is the company erasing Jin?"- a user stated

Fans demanded better promotion of the eldest member of BTS from the agency.

"BH simply can't stomach the fact that Jin's solo show, running on his ideas and the very supportive Run Jin team is doing so well. Not one things gets posted on Instagram, no reels or even youtube shorts."- a user commented

"It's been 3 months since Jin's discharge, but HYBE hasn't posted any content on IG, TT, and YT shorts. His last FESTA wasn’t even shared. Fans demand fair promotion for Jin."- a fan commented

"BTS Jin who got discharged on June 12th has been doing multiple projects since then and none of them are recognised by your official accounts including his multiple Ambassadorship."- a user said

Meanwhile, some fans alleged that the agency only shared posts regarding music updates. Notably, Jin is yet to make a solo comeback following the conclusion of his military service.

"It’s related to only music. Jin’s astronaut updates were posted because it was his music. Even Run BTS⁷ updates are not posted on the page, bcz that’s just entertainment and not related to music."- a fan stated

BTS' Jin is set to appear as an employee in the variety show KIAN’s Bizarre B&B

Jin is set to appear in the upcoming variety show KIAN’s Bizarre B&B as an employee. On August 28, Xports reported that the BTS vocalist is set to appear in Dae Hwan Jang Kian Jang (working title) or KIAN’s Bizarre B&B. It is led by Korean webtoon writer Kian84 while the show is set in Ulleungdo Island, South Korea.

In response to the report, on August 28, Netflix confirmed Jin's appearance as a cast through their official social media page Netflix K-Content. He will be joined by actress Ji Ye-eun who is known for her shows like Running Man, Laughter Cheat Key, and SNL KOREA.
