While the producers refer to it as a "mockumentary," the comedic yet informative tone makes it entertaining for fans.

The unexpected highlight of the episode was Jin’s teammate j-hope lending his voice for part of the narration. j-hope’s calm and soothing tone contrasted with the documentary’s playful vibe, which led fans to find the combination both amusing and heartwarming. One fan reacted to this and wrote on X:

"PLEASE HOBI'S VOICEOVER SEOKJIN WHY IS EVERYTHING SOO DRAMATIC HERE LMFAOND"

BTS' Jin and J-Hope unexpectedly tickle fans

BTS’ Jin’s passion for fishing has been a well-known aspect of his life, showcased through his viral song Super Tuna and his frequent mentions of fishing during interviews and live sessions. Fans often recall his hilarious fishing adventures, such as the recent instance when he caught a 180 cm-long tuna, jokingly referred to as “catching Namjoon,” by them.

Adding to this legacy, he recently released the first part of his fishing documentary on November 28, 2024, titled [Two-Part Documentary] Fishing is the Art of Patience: Challenging Tuna Fishing | In Search of Happiness… Part 1, on BTS’ official YouTube channel. Shot in California, the documentary humorously explores the Running Wild singer's attempts to catch tuna while offering insights into the patience and technique required for fishing.

What made this documentary particularly entertaining was the inclusion of j-hope as a surprise narrator. He added a comedic twist to the documentary’s otherwise lighthearted tone. His professional and dramatic narration was juxtaposed with Jin’s naturally funny antics and facial expressions.

At one point in the documentary, after the Astronaut singer failed to catch a fish despite repeated efforts, J-Hope narrated:

“Perhaps it's just our imagination, but his eyes look a little misty. The rod still shows no sign of movement. Shaking off his disappointment, he reels in the line and heads to a new location. From the way he reels in the line, you can see the disappointment on his face.”

This narration, combined with the BTS hyung's reactions, had fans laughing uncontrollably. Another hilarious scene came when the Happy artist referred to a fish as “ugly,” to which J-Hope humorously commentated:

“Jin is very honest.”

Adding to the hilarity of the occasion, J-Hope reportedly recorded the narration while wearing a tuxedo, believed to be before or after the Audemars Piguet event he attended on November 23. This quirky detail, paired with the mockumentary’s overall tone, delighted fans even more.
