More about Ji-soo's bullying allegations
Ji Soo has been the subject of criticism due to claims of s*xual assault and bullying at school. His classmate from 2006 to 2008 alleged that the K-drama actor was a s*xual predator and a bully. An online forum post accusing him of instigating violence in schools was published on March 2.
KBS decided for the actor to leave the drama in March 2021. Nevertheless, more than 95% of the drama has already been shot, which presents logistical challenges. According to Victory Contents' statement, Ji-soo's accusations of school violence including physical assault, mugging, exam cheating, and sexual violence caused much loss to the drama.
In episode seven of the serial, Na In-woo made his debut. In order to substitute Na In-woo for Ji-soo in the character of On-dal, the drama also reshot episodes 1-6.
The actor and KeyEast ended their partnership, with the reason undisclosed. However, it is speculated that bullying and violence claims from March 2021 led to the termination.
