On Thursday, January 9, TXT's Soobin took to Weverse to host a livestream. During the same, the idol shared several updates about his life recently, one of which included an update on his driver's license. After many tries, Soobin said he finally got his Class 1 driver's license.

He explained that after he got his driver's license, he and his fellow member who had a driver's license went on a drive together at dawn. He also added that his members were scared to let the idol drive. Regardless, he stated that he thinks of himself as a good driver.

After explaining this, the idol asked his fans if they would like a ride, which made many MOAs (TXT's fandom) freak out. When this part of the livestream ended, many fans shared their rections online. While some fans couldn't believe the idol finally got his license, many others swooned over Soobin interaction with his fans.

TXT's Soobin Weverse livestream following his return from temporary hiatus

In November 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC released a statement announcing that TXT's Soobin would take a break from his activities due to his health condition. The statement explained that the idol recently visited a hospital following a few concerns and was recommended to rest from his schedule.

Here's what the statement read:

"We have prioritized Soobin’s recovery and have had discussions regarding future activities with all members. Soobin himself is determined to continue with his activities, however, we felt that it would be better for him to focus on improving his health for the time being as recommended by the medical staff."

They continued,

"Consequently, he unfortunately will not be able to take part in upcoming events such as the MAMA Awards, Japan offline fan events, ACT : PROMISE Encore in JAPAN, and Shanghai fan signing event among other end-of-year ceremonies and activities. We would like to apologize to our fans and ask for your generous understanding."

Therefore, after a long break, the idol returned to his daily schedule by starting a Weverse livestream. At the same time, the idol stated that he was still back home with his family, where he'd been resting. He also introduced his nephew to his fans. He then updated fans that he will return to the dorms with his fellow members by next week.
