The EXO fame, well-known for his popular K-drama OSTs, has captivated fans with tracks such as Stay With Me from Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Go Away Go Away from Dr. Romantic 2, and songs from The Box's OST, among others.

The idol has expressed his interest in releasing a solo album for years. He shared his desire in the 2022 Invitation From CHANYEOL video, listing a solo album as part of his bucket list. He reiterated this during his Birthday Party event in 2022 when he talked about his plans for 2023.

Now that OSEN's coverage has officially confirmed that the 31-year-old is hard at work for his solo album debut in August, fans have taken to X to react to the news. Voicing their excitement, one fan stated:

"Chanyeol has been so vocal for years of wanting to release a solo album. It was not an easy path. We’ve been voicing out so loud how he really deserves to have a solo album for years. EXO's Chanyeol to embark on solo tour following the release of his solo album

After revealing the news of Chanyeol's solo album plans for August, OSEN also stated that he will be hitting the road for his solo tour soon after the release of his album. The tour is titled 2024 CHANYEOL LIVE TOUR: 都市風景 (City-scape) and it will commence in September.

Fans are thrilled after EXO's official social media handles released the tour details on July 26. The tour's poster showcases the idol against a nighttime background in the city. The trek is slated to kick off in Seoul at the Bluesquare Mastercard Hall from September 6 to 7. Further dates and stops are yet to be announced.

Ticket reservations for the Seoul concert of his live tour are to be handled through Interpark Ticket. Presale for EXO's official fan club EXO-L membership holders will begin on August 7 at 8 PM KST, while general ticket sales will be available on August 8 at 8 PM KST.

Additionally, EXO's official X account made another post on July 27 regarding the solo album debut news with the caption:

"EXO's Chanyeol is finally making his solo debut! Expect 'hard days' (a busy schedule) starting in August! Live tour ‘City-scape’ begins in Seoul on September 6-7!"

Meanwhile, the rapper-singer recently wrapped up his THE ETERNITY fancon tour, where he made stops across 7 regions in Asia. He also performed at the prominent TMEA 2024 music festival in the Greater China region, delivering hits like Stay With Me, Good Enough, the EXO-SC sub-unit tracks Rodeo Station, and Nothin', among others.


All eyes are currently on his August and September schedule as fans eagerly await his solo album and upcoming tour.
