On August 23, 2024, the South Korean media outlet Yonhap News released a new CCTV footage featuring BTS's Suga as he appeared for the first questioning before the police regarding his DUI case. In the latest CCTV footage, the artist was seemingly driving his electric scooter in a controlled manner. Despite being drunk, the artist carefully crossed his way when a white vehicle came in front of him.

Subsequently, he entered a narrow alley and passed his way safely through the gray vehicle. He donned a white t-shirt styled with half pants. The BTS member also wore a helmet while driving under the influence of alcohol.


BTS's Suga appeared for the first questioning related to his DUI case

On August 6, 2024, the police informed that BTS's Suga was caught drunk driving an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol. The artist was discovered by the authorities in front of Nine One Hannam, who subsequently took him to the nearby station.

He was later called for the first investigation related to the DUI case at the Yongsan Police Station. As the idol arrived at the place, he was met with a crowd of media houses, reporters, camera persons, and other people.

BTS's Suga, also known as Agust D, further apologized for the recent driving under the influence incident and stated that he was extremely sorry to the media houses present at the scene. He also confessed that he was reflecting sincerely after disappointing multiple fans. The idol further assured that he would diligently undergo the investigations and repeated his apologies several times.

As the idol appeared for the first questioning regarding his DUI case, ARMYs worldwide continued to share encouraging and supportive messages on social media. The fandom shared phrases, including "We Love You Yoongi," "BTS is Seven," "Army Shields BTS," "Beside Suga," "BTS Purple Ribbon Project," "Its Gonna Be Alright," and many others.

Meanwhile, the fansite @ARMYHQ_PH has placed multiple massive banners outside and around the HYBE building in South Korea to showcase their support for the BTS member in troubled times. The banners featured OT7 and Suga's portrait with messages that ARMYs would always be behind the group and showcase their support. The banners also featured phrases including, "Future's gonna be okay" and "We Love You Min Yoongi."


In recent news, Agust D's tracks, including Snooze and Polar Night, re-charted on the iTunes US chart. The songs were released as part of the idol's debut studio album, D-Day, on April 21, 2023. It featured ten tracks, including Snooze, Polar Night, D-Day, Huh?, Amygdala, SDL, People Pt.2 (featuring IU), Haegeum, Interlude Dawn, and Life Goes On.

Min Yoongi enlisted for mandatory military service on September 22, 2023, as a social service agent. He would be discharged in 2025, following the conclusion of his duty.
