Suga or Agust D's tracks break numerous records in two days
Agust D, also known as Suga, was the second BTS member to release solo songs after RM. His track The Last, originally released in 2016, has recently reached #1 on US iTunes for the first time ever, a remarkable eight years after its initial release. This milestone has positioned him as the #1 most consumed Asian act on all digital platforms for the second consecutive day.
On the Worldwide and European iTunes Song Charts, he now occupies the top two spots, with Polar Night holding the #1 position for the second day after topping the charts in 69 countries. The Last follows closely at #2 after reaching #1 in over 40 countries.
Agust D is also dominating the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart with the most songs in the Top 10. Polar Night remains at #1 for the second day, while The Last has surged from #7 to #2 after its recent success on US iTunes. Additionally, his D-DAY album songs, Snooze featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto and The Rose's Woosung hold the #5 spot, and Haegeum is at #6 after previously peaking at #1.
In total, he has 21 songs charting in the Top 180 of the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart, including tracks like D-Day at #23, Life Goes On at #34, Amygdala at #37, and Daechwita at #42.
Furthermore, Agust D has made history by charting all three of his albums simultaneously in the Top 5 of the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart, making him the first and only Asian soloist to achieve this feat. His latest album, D-DAY, has rebounded to #2 after previously spending seven days at #1.
D-2 has surged to #3, and his self-titled 2016 album, Agust D, has climbed to #4. Additionally, his track Haegeum has scored its biggest streaming day of 2024 on Spotify, accumulating 1,342,042 streams.
During a difficult time like his ongoing DUI controversy, fans are adamant about standing by him, and this is their way to showcase their support.
