As Jinny's Kitchen season 2 is all set to air on June 21, 2024, BTS' Kim Taehyung, aka V, has advised Go Min-si, the actress who will be replacing him as the intern from the first season, to be quick on her feet. Taehyung, who gave the advice in 2023 while celebrating his birthday, not aware of who would take his place as he served his military duty, said,

"To the future intern, I don't know who you are, don't be slow. You're going to have to be a bit quicker and make sure to do your job as the youngest newbie. I hope you are used to the job when I return.

The second season of Jinny's Kitchen will focus on the second store of Seo-jin. Go Min-si will be accompanied by the president himself, Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-sik as they try to make the store a success.

Taehyung gives advice to his successor in the show Jinny's Kitchen

While Taehyung went to serve his military duties on December 11, 2023, along with RM, it was implied he would not be around for the second season. Hence, Go Min-si, who appeared in dramas like Smugglers, Youth of May, and Sweet Home, stepped in to fill his shoes.

tvN released a video from 2023 where Park Seo-joon and Na Young-seok PD were celebrating Taehyung's birthday. When Na PD asked whether he had any advice for the new intern, he politely asked if he could cross his arms and then advised the replacement to be faster.

It seems like the days Taehyung spent as the intern on the show helped him gain some insight into what works best when helping run a restaurant. As Go Min-si joins the team, the advice from the previous intern is bound to help her.

What to expect from Jinny's Kitchen season 2?

Jinny's Kitchen season 1 aired on February 24, 2023, on tvN as a reality food show where Lee Seo-jin, the boss, introduced Korean Street food to the citizens of Balacar, Mexico. He was accompanied by Yu-mi, Seo-jun, Woo-shik, and Taehyung. In the teaser for the new season, one can see the cast smiling radiantly at the camera. Not long after the happy smiles, in the next clip, they can be seen lying on the ground, exhausted.

With director Na Young-seok, Jinny's Kitchen season 2 is just a few days away. This time, it is Iceland's turn to have a taste of Korean street food. The crew is back with Go Min-si, replacing the K-pop sensation for now. Fans even spotted a sign that said 'Seojin Ttukbaegi' earlier this year, and the clip of the sign went viral. Fans await a new season where the team gets together to yet again make Korean street food famous among the locals of a foreign nation.

Kim Taehyung is expected to be discharged from his military duties on June 10, 2025, and fans still hope to see him in the third season of the reality show. He will reunite with the rest of the BTS members, out of which the eldest member, Jin, has been discharged as of June 12, 2024.
