"You saved the day" — Fans react as BigHit Music unveils Run Jin's EP.0-3 | The Last Meal

On August 1, 2024, BigHit Music and BANGTANTV YouTube Channel dropped the trailer for Run Jin's Ep.0-3 | The Last Meal, sending fans into a frenzy. In the video, the male artist visited Jeju Island to have a meal with the director. Initially, the idol arrived at the airport and went straight for a meal. He also discussed mountain climbing the next day.

Subsequently, he sat in a vehicle and headed towards a restaurant serving Jeju's specialty black pork. During the drive, BTS Jin revealed that he had visited Jeju Island about five times. He observed the presence of palm trees in the island since primitive times and shared that he went to Hallasan when he was in fourth or fifth grade.

As they reached the destination, the director and male artist also joked about betting on food, sarcastically passing comments about who would pay for the meal. Later, the duo sat for a meal, and BTS Jin grilled the meat by himself.

Soon, the video featuring the male artist enjoying a meal went viral on social media, and fans could not stop gushing over his witty remarks and funny conversations with the show's staff. An X user wrote:

Netizens stated that they were elated to watch BTS Jin eat and confessed that ARMYs were always comforted by the content, where the group members had to complete their meal. Many fans also commented that the latest episode brightened their day.

Variety show Run Jin to premiere on August 13, 2024

On July 30, 2024, BigHit Music announced that BTS member would launch his own entertainment show, Run Jin. The agency shared the official teaser titled EP.01 Road of Hardship Paved by Jin on the official BTS YouTube channel (BANGTANTV). The teaser provided a glimpse of how the Abyss singer was excited to create content for the fandom to reciprocate their efforts and love.

Through the entertainment show Run Jin, the idol would challenge himself in multiple fields, games, and adventures with the mindset that he could do anything. The teaser showed that the idol did not take any rest after concluding his in-person FESTA event on June 13, 2024, and embarked on his much-anticipated journey.
