On Tuesday, December 17, BTS' Jin released the fourteenth episode of RUN JIN on BANGTANTV's official YouTube account. Jin appeared in the episode alongside Kim Dong-hyun, a former Korean MMA fighter. Jonathan, a well-known YouTuber and television personality, joined them as a special guest.
In one sequence of the episode, BTS' Jin impressed his guests with his stamina as he ran over an inclined treadmill for around 1 minute and 32 seconds. As shown in the episode, world-class boxers are able to do it up to 1 minute and 48 seconds, therefore Jin was very close to their target.
BTS' Jin’s fans were impressed with his stamina and energy. Consequently, fans flooded with praise for him. Expressing this sentiment, one user on X stated:
“NOW, YOU SEE WHY HE WAS THE ELITE SOLDIER IN MILITARY”
Many other mixed reactions from BTS’ Jin’s admirers were seen online. While many claimed that Jin would have run for longer, others referred to him as an “Elite Warrior.”
“Does anyone remember that they do run on the treadmill to train back then, I know he can still go longer but he was being humble, Jin stamina is not to be joked with,” commented a fan.
“He could def do longer. I don't doubt even for a bit. He could even talk and was so steady. I'm so turned on by my Elite Warrior,” wrote an admirer.
“I’m genuinely wanted to see how much longer he could go. And I was so impressed but not surprised cuz this is how they train to have such crazy stamina and lung capacity so I knew my boys were just this capable,” remarked another X user.
“and the way he said he could still do it a bit longer, while top boxers and mixed martial arts athletes got around 1:48 seconds as well.. his stamina is on another level,” stated an admirer.
Some stated that BTS' Jin’s “stamina is on another level,” while others were excited to see him do it so effortlessly. Another fan praised the idol’s stamina as “top tier.”
“this part blew my mind... the way he did it and looked so effortless while most would be panting so hard,” wrote another fan.
“i'm screaming jin's physical abilities is probably top tier it's not even his main job 50% incline at running speed with non running shoes and still able to talk with light breaths is a just insane and rare even for people who work out often,” commented another admirer.
“He might look the tiniest among them but his stamina is something else! Those years of singing while dancing is a training in itself- a full cardio!,” stated a fan.
BTS' Jin’s latest RUN JIN episode welcomed YouTuber Jonathan as a special guest
The recent episode of BTS' Jin's variety program, RUN JIN, included lots of chuckles and craziness, with the Running Wild vocalist and Jonathan facing off against MMA fighter Kim Dong-hyun. Viewers were charmed by the trio's jocular behavior, with one highlight being Jonathan pulling a chokehold on the K-pop idol.
Before trying the action, Jonathan playfully murmured, "Goodbye." The mood abruptly changed as the singer joked that following the move, his tongue nearly burst out and his throat was injured.
Later, Kim Dong-hyun, realizing Jin's enormous foreign fan base, joked that he would "redirect his punches" toward Jonathan instead, while the singer compared wrestling with Dong-hyun to having fun with his nephew.
Jonathan, apparently concerned about upsetting Jin, joked about drafting a farewell address in case he endangered the singer's career.
Furthermore, the ensemble was astonished by BTS' Jin's strong core muscles, which he demonstrated while running on the treadmill.
The next episode of RUN JIN will be released on December 24, 2024. J-hope, the idol's bandmate and rapper, will appear on the upcoming episode of the variety show.
