You Will Die in 6 Hours was recently showcased at the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, where it garnered significant attention, winning both the Best Actor Award and the Audience Award in the Korean Competition category.

The film follows the intense journey of Jung Yoon, played by Park Joo-hyun, who is informed by Jun Woo, portrayed by Jaehyun, a prophet of death, that she has only six hours left to live.

Faced with this terrifying prophecy, Jung Yoon sets out to uncover the identity of her would-be killer, determined to change her seemingly inevitable fate. Alongside her is Ki Hoon, played by Kwak Si-yang, a detective from the violent crimes unit, who is on the trail of a serial killer.

Promotional materials for the movie have already stirred excitement, with three intense and evocative posters released, highlighting the film's main characters. The posters prominently feature the movie's title in both English and Korean.

More about the cast

Jaehyun, known for his work with NCT, is making his feature film debut in You Will Die in 6 Hours. Jaehyun first appeared in the public eye as a trainee in December 2013 under SM Rookies and officially debuted in April 2016 with NCT U, later joining NCT 127 and NCT DoJaeJung. In addition to his acting debut, he recently released his first full-length solo album, J, following a series of solo singles in 2017.

Kwak Si-yang, who began his acting career in the 2014 drama Glorious Day, gained widespread recognition for his role in the romantic comedy Oh My Ghost. He continued to build his career with roles in Lovers of the Red Sky, Idol: The Coup, and Café Minamdang.

Park Joo-hyun, who first appeared in the movie The Dude In Me, rose to prominence with her lead role in the Netflix series Extracurricular. She recently won the New Actress award at the 57th Baeksang Awards for her performance in Extracurricular and currently stars in the ongoing KBS drama Perfect Family.
