On Monday, December 16, NCT's Mark released his collaborative track, Fraktsiya, with the South Korean rapper and soloist Lee Youngji. Regarding the same, the idol shared a few comments and thoughts with the South Korean media outlet OSEN News. In the same, the idol explained how Lee Youngji's feature came about while creating the song, Fraktsiya.
Mark stated that the initial thought process behind the song was to look back at his journey in the K-pop industry. He also added that he felt that Lee Youngji and the idol share similar characters. Therefore, he requested to feature in the song, and the rapper immediately accepted the offer, according to OSEN News' interview with the idol.
Here's what he stated:
"I started working on this song while looking back on my position in K-pop and thinking about living in various ways. I felt that Youngji was a similar character to me, so I asked her to feature in it, and she readily accepted."
He continued,
“I always wanted to do something together with Youngji because I thought we had a unique chemistry together, and I’ve proven that I wasn’t wrong with ‘Fraktsiya.’ I’d like to thank Youngji once again.”
He also ended his comments on his collaboration with Lee Youngji by stating that he had a lot of fun working with the rapper on the song. Additionally, given that this interview was released just a few hours before the song's release, Mark expressed that many fans might enjoy the track.

NCT's Mark or Lee Min-hyuk is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and dancer based in South Korea. He made his debut in the industry in 2016 under SM Entertainment's NCT, an ever-expansive K-pop boy group. Under NCT, there are several subunits such as NCT Dream, NCT 127, WayV, NCT DOJAEJUNG, and NCT Wish.
