On July 20, 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC dropped a new video of MMM (Mini & Moni Music) - Jimin featuring BTS' Namjoon. The previous MMM video of Namjoon was released in May 2024 and featured the singer when the former released his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person. The video is named after the duo's fanmade nicknames where "Mini" means Jimin and "Moni" represents Namjoon.
In the latest MMM edition, both BTS members discussed the release and creative process of the Filter singer's latest solo album MUSE. As the video progressed, Namjoon talked about how the WHO singer-songwriter's talents helped BTS achieve success.
Furthermore, Namjoon told him to have more faith in his talents whenever he felt underconfident, reminding him that he has "dominated the stage" since their debut.
"Back then you totally ate it up! You dominated the stage! Whether we were there with you or not. Our team got a lot of attention because of you. Your power elevated the team. When you feel your confidence dropping or you're doubting yourself, don't forget that you went through these chapters. You're someone who has eaten up the stage," Namjoon said.
"He's the one I love and trust the most" — Namjoon expresses his steadfast support for Jimin
Jimin released his second solo album, MUSE, on July 19, 2024, with the title track MV, WHO. The next day, the new MMM (Mini & Moni Music) premiered LIVE on the YouTube channel, BANGTANTV. The duo talked about what inspired the Filter singer to create his new solo album and shared several anecdotes.
During their discussion, the WHO singer-songwriter praised Namjoon for his ability to write 10-15 songs in a few months. In return, Namjoon eased Jimin's anxiousness by praising him for his ability to learn choreographies faster than anyone in the group.
Namjoon told the camera how he "loves and trusts" the Be Mine singer-songwriter the most among all his members and would always be there for him. Namjoon also highlighted the Like Crazy singer's good traits, pointing out that his sensitivity towards others makes him appealing to others.
"But after our debut, of all the people I've known since becoming an adult, he's the one I love and trust the most. Whenever Jimin needs me, I'll always be there for him."
In the video, the WHO singer-songwriter stated how it has been ages since he had a crush on someone, hence, writing the song Rebirth (Intro) was challenging for him. In response, Namjoon resonated with the statement and the duo hilariously shook hands on the subject. The clip went viral online as fans found it amusing.
In other news, Jimin and Kim Namjoon enlisted in the South Korean military in December 2023. They will return in June 2025 along with BTS' Jeon Jungkook, Kim Taehyung (aka V) and Min Yoongi aka SUGA. Meanwhile, Jin was discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, and j-hope will return in October 2024.
