No Gain No Love, starring Shin Min-ah, Kim Young-dae, Lee Sang-yi, and Han Ji-hyun, aired episodes 5 and 6 on September 9 and 10 on tvN and later on Prime Video. Episode 5 of No Gain No Love picked up from the previous episode, where a mysterious man approached Kim Ji-uk (Kim Young-dae).
Kim Ji-uk was threatened by the mysterious man to join Kkulbee Education as an employee, saying Kim Ji-uk was an out-of-wedlock child of a woman who is now married to a Pastor. His words did not threaten Kim Ji-uk as his mother abandoned him.
However, to keep his promise to his grandmother, he joined Kkulbee Education, where Son Hae-young (Shin Min-ah) works. In the recent developments of No Gain No Love, despite Son Hae-young and Kim Ji-uk’s efforts, they were revealed to be a married couple at their workplace.

No Gain No Love ep 5-6 recap: Kim Ji-uk saves Son Hae-young while Bok Gyu-hyun becomes a social worker
In episode 5 of No Gain No Love, Kim Ji-uk entered Kkulbee Education as a recruit, causing trouble for Son Hae-young. She was surprised that her fake groom, who was seen by her colleagues at her wedding, has now joined the same company. She was worried that everyone might find out about their marriage.
Son Hae-young was also worried why Kim Ji-uk did not receive her calls after their fake wedding. Kim Ji-uk tried to explain Son Hae-young but he could not get into the details. However, he stated he did not want to cause her any trouble and that he did not have any option.
Meanwhile, no one recognized Kim Ji-uk at the office as he had different hair when they held the wedding ceremony. The same day, Son Hae-young watched Kim Ji-uk at the on-the-job training session, finding ways to score him low and get him rejected from the job.
Meanwhile, Bok Gyu-hyun (Lee Sang-yi) submitted a handwritten letter to writer Yeon Bo-ra, aka Nam Ja-yeon (Han Ji-hyun), for leaving hate comments under her web novel. As she rejected his apology, Bok Gyu-hyun said that he had written the apology letter with utmost sincerity and asked for another way to redeem his actions.
Nam Ja-yeon asked him to die, to which Bok Gyu-hyun replied that she was too harsh. She told him that he asked her to die more than 100 times in those hate comments, which made her question if she deserved to live.
As Bok Gyu-hyun left the place, he was almost hit by a truck. Nam Ja-yeon witnessed this and fainted. Bok Gyu-hyun saw her lying on the sidewalk and immediately went to check on her.
On the other hand, Son Hae-young held a team dinner with her colleagues, where she cornered Kim Ji-uk and scolded him for working at Kkulbee Education. This was because she wanted to be seen only as a Team Leader and not someone's wife. She believed she would be blamed for Kim Ji-uk's shortcomings if everyone found out they were married.
The next day, she was reported to HR for allegedly verbally abusing a subordinate at work. Kim Ji-uk found out that his fellow recruit Bok Gi-un (Lee Chang-ho) made a complaint to protect him. By the end of episode 5 of No Gain No Love, Kim Ji-uk revealed that he was not a victim but Son Hae-young's husband.
In episode 6 of No Gain No Love, Son Hae-young came up with a plan to act brazenly at their workplace to avoid any embarrassment and followed it. Meanwhile, Bok Gyu-hyun took Nam Ja-yeon to the hospital, as she woke up she was shocked to see him alive since she thought he was dead.
Later, the mysterious man visited Kim Ji-uk, asking about his relationship with Son Hae-young, whether they were genuinely married. Kim Ji-uk stated that Son Hae-young was his wife and raised a counter question, suspecting the person behind the mysterious man to be Bok Gi-ho (Choi Jin-ho). Bok Gi-ho is Kkulbee Education’s chairman and Bok Gyu-hyun’s father.
Nam Ja-yeon saw a better side of Bok Gyu-hyun, who looked out for her and also realized he was rich when he offered to pay the hospital bills, bought her a new phone, and paid the taxi fees. However, Nam Ja-yeon paid him the money back and made him serve as a community service worker for his punishment.
While working at an orphanage, Bok Gyu-hyun met Kim Ji-uk for the first time, who made him do the laundry. Although Kim Ji-uk was introduced as an angel, Bok Gyu-hyun perceived him as Lucifer.
Toward the end of episode 6 of No Gain No Love, Kim Ji-uk and Son Hae-young were invited for dinner by Bok Gi-ho as they saved a kid from his abusive father, which in turn helped the company earn some good PR. Before the dinner, Kim Ji-uk met Bok Gyu-hyun, the CEO of Kkulbee Education.
Kim Ji-uk and Son Hae-young had dinner alongside Bok Gi-ho and his wife Seon Jeong-a (Lee Il-hwa), Bok Gyu-hyun, Ahn Woo-jae (Go Wook), and Kwon Yi-lin (Jeon Hye-won).
The next day, Kim Ji-uk and Son Hae-young found themselves in the same bed after drinking a lot the previous night. Surprisingly, manager Ahn Woo-jae, who is Son Hae-young's ex-boyfriend, was also with them. This marked the conclusion of episode 6 of No Gain No Love.
