Jungkook of BTS has solidified his status as one of the most successful soloists in K-pop history, dominating the global music scene with his debut solo album GOLDEN, released in November 2023. On December 17, 2024, Top Star News reported that according to Billboard's "2024 Year-End Chart" settlement list, Jungkook's maiden solo album, GOLDEN, ranked #80 on the Billboard 200 chart. Additionally, it positioned itself at #10 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and at #9 on Billboard Top Current Album Sales.
As per the report, the BTS idol's song SEVEN ranked at #15 on the Billboard Global 200 chart as of December 17, 2024. His album's title track, Standing Next To You, ranked at #36 while 3D ranked at #129. The chart's ranking is determined based on streaming and digital sales in more than 200 countries and regions worldwide.

GOLDEN debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, marking one of the highest-charting solo albums by a K-pop artist. Its remarkable 24-week run on the chart is a record for a Korean soloist. The lead single, Standing Next to You, climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Jungkook’s third solo entry in the chart’s top 10.
Two additional tracks from GOLDEN, 3D (feat Jack Harlow) and Standing Next to You, made waves on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 (Excl. US) charts, both securing the No. 1 spot.
On Spotify, GOLDEN became the first album by an Asian soloist to surpass 4 billion streams within just 267 days, achieving the milestone faster than any other K-pop artist. Jungkook also became the first Asian soloist to maintain a presence on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for over 54 consecutive weeks.
In terms of physical sales, GOLDEN broke records by achieving Double Million Seller status within its first five hours of release, eventually surpassing 2.82 million total copies sold on the Circle Album Chart, the highest ever for a solo K-pop album. Its vinyl edition also set a record for the largest first-day LP sales by a Korean soloist on Hanteo.
