Netflix has officially announced the renewal of its hit Korean drama series, Bloodhounds, for a second season. On January 16, 2024, Netflix posted that the new season will see the return of lead actors Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi, with the notable addition of renowned singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) in his first antagonist role.
Bloodhounds Season 2 will continue the gripping narrative of Kim Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Hong Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi), two talented boxers who previously dismantled a notorious loan shark ring. In the upcoming season, they face a new adversary, Baek Jeong (Rain), a formidable figure in the criminal underworld who challenges their resolve and skills.
While an exact release date has not been confirmed, production is underway, and the season is anticipated to premiere in 2025.
